Today we honored Gold Start Mother Betty Crawford the Mother of Stephen Fortunato who was killed in action on October 14, 2008 while serving in Afghanistan.
The Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 545 in Beverly for which the post was named for all 4men served in the Military.
A floral arrangement and gift was given to Betty Crawford at Stephen Fortunato’s grave at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Commander Paul Lantz made the presentation along with the following names below.
Sgt. Maj. Bob Desjardins and Greg Leonard.
